The Nothing Man: The No. 1 Irish Times bestseller. A brilliantly twisty blend of true crime and psychological thriller by Catherine Ryan Howard

Unexpectedly entertaining

It was a book within a book, such an unconventional way of showing more than one perspective and more interesting than that the killer actually reacting to the surviving victim’s words. Genius.

I couldn’t put it down to the point that I had it both in physical and kindle format to be able to keep reading pass my bedtime now dictated by my 3 month old.

One of the most surprising things I’ve encountered here was the emphasis the author put over the victims, so easily forgotten in cases like this, it highlighted the need to look beyond the crime and the perpetrator, to remember what and who is lost.

The story makes you read the book and then immediately after shows you how the killer feels or reacts to specific chapters, for him (the killer) was also incredibly hard to put the book down, need I say more?
