Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows by Balli Kaur Jaswal

4.0

Overall, I really loved this book! I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 because while I did love the story, I feel like it strayed away from the main plot a couple of times towards the end and it was almost like I was reading a completely different book. Also I found myself questioning whether this was a fiction, romance, or thriller novel! I think those were the only parts that I did not love. However, I do see how these subplots came together in the end, but I don't think they were 100% necessary.

I listened to the audiobook and had a great narrator. It was amazing how she created so many characters' personalities just through her voice. All the accents were so similar but I could tell who was speaking because she was such a talented voice actor.

I was definitely not expecting the amount of steaminess in this, so be aware!! It was definitely a fun read and I loved all of the feminist aspects of it. It was a great insight into a culture I'm not familiar with, so I got to learn a lot of new things while reading this book.
