This was an ARC read and I was so pleasantly surprised by it! The banter between Daniel and Mac and the tension that builds during the slow burn really gripped me. It was truly a sweet rom com with a dash of spice and it tugged at my heartstrings throughout. I also loved the addition of Mac’s students and her relationship with them as well as her friendship with Jenny. Multiple parts of this story brought tears to my eyes while simultaneously keeping a knot in my stomach from the romantic tension and my desire to know how it all turned out in the end.
