Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver

5.0

I listened to the audiobook. It's stellar. The transitions include bird sounds and nature sounds, and it really transports the listener into the narrative.

I struggle with this type of book. Where you step into a works for a short time and get the privilege of observating unnoticed, but like all things, you must eventually exit and only get to speculate on the continued existence of your new friends.
