The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan
5.0

“I have lightning and wind powers," Jason reminded him. "Piper can turn beautiful and charm people into giving her BMWs. You're no more a freak than we are. And, hey, maybe you can fly, too. Like jump off a building and yell 'Flame on!'"
Leo snorted. "If I did that, you would see a flaming kid falling to his death, and I would be yelling something a little stronger than 'Flame on!”

This is still my favorite series by Rick Riordan. This book just got better after reading it again.

The plot is by far the best out of all his books. It's intriguing and unique. I find myself always wanting to keep reading. I love the air of mystery these books have with them. It's a constant guessing game, which I enjoy, and unpredictable in my terms of predictability. The new Roman mythology is also woven in well.

We are thrown in with new characters but eventually reunite with some of the characters we know from Percy Jackson. Though not all because the man himself, Percy, is missing. Even though I love him, I don't mind that much because getting to know the new characters is amazing.

All the characters are fantastic. I also really enjoy the switch to third-person and having multiple POVs. The new characters are unique and have well-rounded. Not only that, but they have such interesting dynamics with each-other. I loved seeing their growth throughout the book.

I honestly can't say anything bad about "The Lost Hero". I loved every moment of it.
