The art may be the most gorgeous I've ever seen in manga. The sheer beauty of the detail and layout throughout the work, especially in the woodcarving arc, rates 5 stars! The story is a bit lacking so far, so that's why I'm only rating 4 stars. However: it's only the first volume, so I'm going to reserve judgment on the overall story until at least Vol. 2.
