3.0

The worst of the potter books— the deathly hallows, though an interesting concept on their own, feel tacked on to the narrative and add lore that complicates the world in a way that does not add to the world, specifically the wand lore about who controls a wand is dumb as hell.

The pacing of this book is not great with huge boring sections.

JKR clearly struggled with telling a compelling narrative outside of the context of a school setting.
