Glow of the Everflame by Penn Cole

This was a ✨wild✨ ride. This book kind of felt like a drama reality tv show??
I feel overwhelmed to have read this masterpiece
How am I supposed to not immediately jump into the next book ( a chunkerrrr)???!!
There was so much tension and such a great slow burn between Diem and Luther, I loved every single second of their interactions. Luther is the definition of "if he wanted to he would".
This is one of the best found families I've read about. All the side characters are just chef's kiss 10/10. Period.
I think the depiction of Diem's grief was done really well and realistic. I loved how all the other characters supported her so much and still gave her the space she needed. Teller saying "Maybe it's time to stop looking for the light and start making it yourself." YES YES YES.
Okay and can we talk about how much we hated Iléana? Can she stfu already? And please, for the love of god, finally leave Henri. I cannot deal with him anymore for not being there for her when she needed him.
Oh and the challenging? Excuse me what the actual fuck? I was speechless. Nothing but love for this book, bye.
