I didn't quite enjoy this as much as part one. Were there some powerful moments? Sure, there were. Virginia made some interesting choices...and as her mind was based on another character, that didn't shock me.

This volume chose to start off with kind of a stand-alone story. I had mixed feelings about that. The story was absolutely necessary to the overall narrative, but I almost feel like it would have better served in pieces spread throughout the series.

Still, an exceptional book to a superb series.
