2-1/2 maybe even 3. Started well but seemed to become repetitive and tedious. I enjoy when I feel encourage to look up fact when reading historical fiction. One little issue (kings mother died after princes coronation rather than before) being wrong (according to wiki) for some reason made it harder for me to enjoy the rest.
