Triggers: mentions of cancer, death of a parent

This was the most beautiful beautiful book! The artwork is gorgeous, the disability rep is INCREDIBLE and so well written, and I loved every minute of it. Subaru is lovely, sweet and gentle. He was born with his disability, but while being independent he lives a very enclosed life - as a lot of disabled people do. Tougo is amazing; so supportive, calm and understanding. I loved the way he encouraged Subaru to expand his thinking and his independence.

As a wheelchair user, I really appreciated the authenticity of how Subaru used his wheelchair and how he lived his life and felt about his disability. I really loved how Tougo *asked* if he could push Subaru's wheelchair, instead of just presuming.

There was a lovely non-explicit sex scene at the end, which was really body positive for Subaru and Tougo was incredibly supportive and patient.

I'd give it a million stars if I could.
