While it couldn't be a flop, it had magic, danger, intrigue, and a talking skeleton, their was a bit of dissonance with the protagonist. She is supposed to be twelve years old but comes off as much older than that. Tons of action and ever so much plot didn't keep it from getting bogged down in a few places. Still, I think I can recommend it for a fun read.
