Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
3.0

I had to read this for summer reading and not it and crap. So naturally, I had interest in actually reading this book. I was fooorrerccceeedddd to.
So everyone in this book pretty much sucked. The main character, who was so lame that she doesn't even get a name, was so stupid that I wanted to slap her. I mean, she was so worried about Rebecca that she didn't live her own life. Loser.
Maxim was crazy. But I guess he was entitled to be, since he was married to Rebecca AND the stupid girl with no name.
Rebecca, urrrrgg I had mixed emotions about her. I liked how she was BRILLIANT at playing people, but she was such a hater.
Mrs. Danvers was creeepy and in love with Rebecca (which was creepy).
I guess the only character I really liked was the dog.
This book was kinda suspenseful. It would have been better if there were not so many descriptions. I liked being able to picture the surroundings, but the surroundings were boring and sometimes unconvincing (that magical garden place-Happy Valley I think it was called?).
thank you for reading this review. bye
