Road Rage by Richard Matheson, Joe Hill, Stephen King

3.0

This book contains the adaptation of the Richard Matheson's Duel short story seen through the eyes of none other than Stephen King and Joe Hill but also a direct adaptation of said story, which follows the tweaked one. All in all it was ok, I'm far more familiar with the work of King and Hill than I am with Matheson's (though I keep hearing about him and probably will add his works to my TBR) and regarding the Throttle story, I can say it was just ok. An easy read, nothing too pretentious or demanding, just something that will keep you busy for a short while and which will also not pretend to hang around much more time after that. Matheson's Duel adaptation felt (at least for me who hasn't read the short story, Duel) pretty bland and unsatisfactory by the end of it. Hopefully the short story is better than this adaptation.
