I enjoyed this sequel to Slouch Witch a lot, though I had my doubts in the first couple of chapters. Once we got past the sections of Ivy embarrassing herself to set up future plot points though, I had a lot of fun with this book. It's also great to see character development, and to know that the MCs are chasing red herrings without quite knowing where they should be looking instead. I'm looking forward to picking up book three!
