ibriggs82 's review for:
The Sense of an Ending
by Julian Barnes
I didn't enjoy this nearly as much as I thought I would.
It seemed to be more a series of short episodes abruptly shortened, full of gaps in the story, and it drifted towards a rather underwhelming ending.
I got the feeling a much more complete book could have been written; one that expands on the interesting snippets that were mentioned, but instead, it was shortened to fit a'quick read' template.
