This book is great but I’m a little surprised it’s the highest rated of the trilogy! Was definitely a bit slower than book 1.
Still on track to be the most violent series I’ve read. Think I’m gonna take a bit of a brain break before tackling book 3.
I love Kitay so I’m glad he’s back in the fold more. Rin and Nezha teaming up was one of my favorite parts of book 1, but them reverting back to enemies was inevitable. So many awful things happened throughout the book that by the time some of the more significant and sad deaths happened at the end it didn’t feel as impactful as it should’ve.
