are we surprised by this rating? no, not at all. It's HD Carlton duh.
if you have read the C&M duet, then you will probably remember who Molly is. I did always kind of wonder what happened to her. Did she make it out? did she not make it out? Well, now we have our answer!
I loved getting to see Molly's backstory. what her life was like growing up, how she got to the house to begin with. It's not a pretty story at all.
Then we meet Cage. We learn about his special skill set and how he was able to help Molly.
this is a right person, wrong time story and i LOVE those.
i also really loved all the side characters we were shown also (yes even the pigs lol)
If you haven't read C&M duet, i would HIGHLY recommend you read that first.
Also... be sure to stick around until the VERY END of the book
