great deck, AWFUL guidebook written by someone who fundamentally does not understand what tarot is for. many of the (EXYREMELY minimal) interpretations were downright stupid, this is what she writes for 10 of Swords: "you've let others walk all over you while you play the victim. is it possible that you love the backstabbing and drama too much to move forward without it? if not for drama...what would you focus on?"
was this written by a 15 year old?? wtf what a completely unserious and unhelpful thing to say as an adult to other adults. the overall deeply internalized misogyny vibes for the interpretations of the "Daughter/Mother Of" cards really bothered me too. I will be using the book for collage art and coming up with my own interpretations thanks
