This is the first audiobook from Harlan Corben that I have listened to. The narration was good although I was not a fan of the long pauses between chapters. I had to check multiple times that it was still playing.
The story itself is decent. Not the typical intense thriller I am used to from the author. This story follows disgraced NYPD Detective Sami Kierce as he tries to figure out how someone her thought had died 20 years prior managed to walk into his classroom. With the help of his friends, students, former colleagues and wife, he is able to get to the bottom of the mystery that has haunted him all this time.
