Time's Convert
by Deborah Harkness
I chose to read this primarily because I enjoyed the TV series, and I was curious to learn more about Marcus’ backstory and what lies ahead for him. I’m pleased I did, as the novel delves deeper into his character, giving much-needed context and development that the show and other books only hint at.
Like the previous books, the story is filled with characters who only make brief appearances. At times, I found it difficult to keep track of who was who.
I did enjoy how the story was intertwined with historical events and notable figures, prompting me to do some extra research.
