On the Island
by Tracey Garvis Graves
I’m not even sure how to write a review for this one without revealing any spoilers!
When Anna and TJ’s small plane crashes in the ocean, near a remote island in the Maldives, they somehow survive and make it to shore. What comes next for them I could not have anticipated. They suffer so many things on the island and I cannot fathom the fear and hopelessness they felt. This book is about growth, loss, illness, love, and the sheer will to survive. It is written with dual POVs and I loved the writing style. Even the tough topics were handled so well.
