Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James

5.0

This book is definitely for mature audience. If you liked the Twilight series, this book is definitely will be up your alley (since it was originally a Twilight fanfiction).

Ah, finally, a book where the main character is a college student! Ana Steele is a just your average girl who did a favor for a friend to interview the young billionaire Christian Grey. Of course, sparks flew on their first meeting and it just went on from there.

Christian has a secret hobby and he’s nervous about telling Ana about it, yet he wants to do his hobby with Ana. The whole book, Ana thought about it, while their increased attraction to each other making it hard to think.

Personally, Ana is very relatable. I’m glad she thinks about it first, the pros and cons, and what would happen if she said no. Her innocence and sarcasm is so cute sometimes.

Christian is just one tortured, adorable, hot guy! I like him from the get go, as he is a gentleman, and all women needs a guy like Christian. The only thing I don’t like about him sometimes is that he’s often very controlling. I would be annoyed at this, Ana feels the same way!

Overall, the character has good chemistry, the sexy scenes are hot and not too over the top yet (in my opinion!) and whether you are reading it just for the characters, or for the sexy scenes, you probably won’t forget this book.
