While I enjoyed this book for the romance aspects, I also was shocked and disgusted by Daphne’s actions in ~that scene~, and I kind of stopped loving the book after that. The fact that it’s so brushed over and just completely forgiven by Simon (despite the trauma it brought back up)  without a discussion upset me. I never really got back into the book as deeply as I had been prior to that scene. Anyways, there should be a sexual assault/violence trigger warning placed on this book so that people know what they’re getting into.
