It has been too long since I read one of Leon’s Brunetti stories. Reading this one, I felt like I was back amongst old friends. Though I feel that the story is a sobering one, it is unsurprisingly well written, with minute detail paid attention to the setting. There is also the introduction of a new character whom I hope we get more of in the next installment and further development of some of my favorites.
