I really enjoyed the trilogy but I feel it could have been a lot shorter. I nearly DNF 'd this book, but it picked up around 50% and I'm a curious cat who needs to know what happened, so I pushed through.
I love the characters, the story and plot lines are solid, the magic system is intriguing but it gets quite dark and difficult to read at times. There are also multiple POV's which distracted me a bit from the main story. That being said, it had a good ending which I really needed, with a lovely epilogue. 🦋

Graphic: Death, Torture
Moderate: Slavery
