This is a pretty short book about Julian Albans, tormentor and bully to Auggie in the book Wonder. The story emphasizes there are always two sides to every story. Julian has parents who aren't fully aware of his actions and are defensive about the idea that they could be wrong. His mother strives for perfection in their lives. She sends out a photo in their Christmas card from the previous year because she doesn't want Julian's black eye in the picture. The whole family has to have a change. A story from Julian's French grandmere is the catalyst for that change.
