It was my first encounter with kafka. I knew it was not an easy read. The story is smooth but the translation I was reading was not the best. There were sentences that did not make much sense. However the story itself is interesting. It is about a man who is accused of something he is unaware of and he has to face lots of challenges to understand the complexity of the mysterious court and to get as much help as he can. But then again, not the easiest read. The story is deep and there are times the reader is temoted to stop reading and only thing about the real meaning behind the words. Kafka has his own fans who understand him very well. To me, the apparant story was nice but since it was difficult, I may not jump on another Kafka novel so soon.
