I loved this! So different from everything else popular at the moment with the basis in French folk tales rather than the known! I loved the shock twist ending! I was devastated to learn that book 2 isn't out yet!!!So I'm going to leave myself a little spoilers summary below to remember.
SPOILERSS
Odiva was obviously bad news. Sabine changed her personality too quick from vegetarian to killer. Odiva jumped into the Underworld to be with her lover with flute 1. Sabine and Ailesse are sisters. Bastion and Ailesse love each other but he isn't her Amori! Like mother like daughter! Kaz is the Amori and he has ALSO kidnapped Ailesse and taken her bones while she has a broken leg. (Guys suck!) Bastion got stabbed and is healing with Marcel and Jule. Sabine rocks up to join forces. Sabine has a jackal bone and flute 2 but has not done her right of passage. Ailesse has 11 months left but this seems very YA so doubt there'll be baby making. Still don't know who killed Bastion's dad.
