What Would Frida Do?: A Guide to Living Boldly
by Arianna Davis
This was cute. A kind of primer to Frida for new fans rather than those willing to look for more authoritative sources on the artist. A lot of the self-help-style reflections here felt trite and overthought, but the book is sprinkled with enough legit info on Frida that I tolerated the speculative musings ("what would Frida do if..."). Sometimes the biographical information is repetitive, as if the book was written out of order (likely) and the author couldn't remember what had previously been cited.
Overall, a fine book, but I'm a little mad at myself for splurging on the hardcover version.
