The Roommate
by Dervla McTiernan, Aoife McMahon
I’ve made a goal to intentionally chip away at reading from my personal library this year, and audiobooks have especially benefitted from this undertaking.
THE ROOMMATE by Dervla McTiernan is a quick-moving novella; a roommate is killed, and Niamh has to navigate the implications of the loss, while managing suspicions at work and mysterious circumstances occurring.
I understand this is a novella, of sorts, setting up the Cormac Reilly series; I also have the first book in the series, which I will be listening to shortly, so I’m interested in understanding this in context, especially since the point-of-view was from the victim, not the detective.
