REREAD. AND JUST AS GOOD AS THE FIRST TIME. In fact I give it 20 million stars out of 5. Shade to TSH because it seems like every book I read is a much better dark academia book than that.
"El, I love you so much."
What an ending. It has been a day since I finished it and I think, I've finally calmed down enough to say that I absolutely loved every moment in the book.
It would be an understatement to say that I was excited to get back to Scholomance. I dropped everything the moment I got it to read it. From the beginning of the book till the end I was hooked. There was no dip in the story even once. I was constantly riding a high, until the very end where it felt like i was pushed off a cliff. Trust me when I say I was in a state of exhilaration the entire time. There's non-stop action. All the characters are so well written and become even more lovable. Orion and El's little love story is taken a step higher without giving anything away. Aadhya and El have the most beautiful heart-to-heart conversation and the fact that she acknowledges themselves as desi girls during it had me internally squealing and crying simultaneously. Honestly from chapter 10 till the end, my heart was soaring constantly. It's always amazing and wonderful to see people come together to help each other. And when it ends. It ends at a high point. It's completely satisfying and fulfilling and emotional that I wouldn't even be mad if the book ended here.
But I know the third book has been written and will most probably come out next year. So good news all around because I once again cannot wait to get back to this wondrous, heartwarming, dangerous and sexy world.
