My first ever King book!! Overall I enjoyed this and Mr. King has great prose that keeps you engaged from the start. I will definitely be reading more of his work. That being said, it’s unnecessarily long imo. There was no need to make this story almost 600 pages. It starts strong and then loses its luster about 3 or 4 hundred pages in and just seems to drag.
I enjoyed this book and recommend but I would prioritize other books over this one. Ranges from 3.6-4 stars.
