Of the first three installments, I find Asunder to be the best of them. Mainly because it now follows events of the mages after Anders blows up the Kirkwall Chantry, and ends setting the stage from when you start playing Dragon Age: Inquisition (along with a handful of other recognizable situations running in tandem in the background of Orlais). This story follows Cole, Rhys, and Evangeline as they discover a dark secret behind the Rite of Tranquility. Some of the companions from Dragon Age: Origins make a reprisal, and overall I'm glad we're finally able to break free from Maric and his antics to focus on other events within the DA franchise's timeline that feel more relevant to those of us who play the games as the Hero of Ferelden, Hawke, and the Inquisitor.
