After becoming addicted to the television show, I couldn't wait to read the books. I was thinking I could find out some of what happens next, before I see it on tv. Boy, was I ever wrong on that count. After reading the first book, I believe it left off where the first season was after the THIRD episode! What?! At this rate, it's going to take two more books just to encapsulate season 1! Also, I feel like it loses something in the writing. I feel slightly less silly watching the tv show. =P Hopefully, I won't be as disappointed by the next books in the series. I bought the box set which contains the first four books in paperback, because it was a much better deal. Only subsequent readings will tell!
