This was an excellent book. Well structured. Engaging. Bees, or the absence of bees, linked three narratives. The female protagonist showed determination and courage. In fact most of the originality and creativity in this book was displayed by women. The men tended to maudlin attempts at escape.This book covered many themes with a call to protect our environment at its heart.
