The Lost Garden
by Helen Humphreys
I read this book in two sittings. Very lyrical, heartbreaking, realistic, sad, yet very honest and lovely. I can see why some people don't like this book. I expected a bit more about the land girls, which I find utterly fascinating, Gwen's loneliness was something that really spoke to me. I could very much relate.
