Everything slotted into place in this final book, even when it seemed far off, which was convenient, but I didn’t care. I wanted everyone to skip off into the sunset happily as can be.

I am still grumpy about how quick Rissa decided she was going to be with Osrik and loved him…that was so off and out of character to me and makes me just grumpy.

Queen Kaila is a *****. I’d hate to see what happens when the last faerie loop closes and the rest of Orea is stuck with her. Hopefully the snake king keeps her in check.

The Queen Malina and Assassin (Dominic) part on the bridge made me cry. Ugh. Did not think I would be crying on her behalf.

I’m happy everyone, including Argo, made it to Orea to live out the happy ending. Wick, Slade’s mom, and Digby were all happy editions. RIP Judd though (even though I saw it coming as it was about to happen). And I’m shocked we didn’t get the Wick romance with the fae girl (please excuse me I can’t  remember her name lol) since she just wanted to add so many in.

Still very Throne of Glass-esq with the full cast of characters (but not as epic). The Slade and Auren reunion was fantastic though, despite the death scene?!? Cried during that too feeling his pain. But her wings saved them…because she flew 🥲
