The main character is a bit insufferable, and I could not have cared less about her breakup from 10 years ago, but as with all Ruth Ware novels, I did end up getting sucked in and ended up finishing the second half of the book in one sitting, so I can't complain too much haha.

but I can't believe she just COMPLETELY reused the end of this one in a later book!!
