Wow. This story has so many layers! It isn't just about one thing, but about many important themes that emerge throughout. The storylines intertwine so beautifully and just when you've forgotten a tiny detail that you thought was insignificant and kind of random, Backman brings it back in the most clever way!
It is a book that I will recommend to many and one I can't wait to read again and again. Starting first with a re-read to underline my favourite lines and give to my husband because this book has so many beautiful quotes. Afterall, "That's the power of literature, you know, it can act like little love letters between people who can only explain their feelings by pointing at other people's."-Estelle (pg.262).
