The Last Murder at the End of the World by Stuart Turton
3.5
i liked it enough, but wished it had either committed to being a dystopian end of the world survival plot or a murder mystery. the murder didn’t come in until a third of the way through so the first bit felt random, and by the end, it seemed like everybody had motive, nobody had alibis, and the population was gonna die in two days anyway. it just didn’t grab me! the ending was solid and i enjoyed the final twist(s), but it just felt a bit all over the place to me.
