I absolutely loved this book. It is well written and captivating. It is incredibly validating. Nature is queer and beautiful. Binaries do not exist in nature. We are nature too.

The book does touch on themes of the author's sexual abuse as a child. It caught me off guard but it is integral to the story. A warning beforehand would have been appreciated though.
