The Heir of Brownlie Manor by Anita Stansfield

4.0

I was excited to read this book, and I really enjoyed this story. The story immediately drew me in, and I felt invested in the story and the characters. The main characters were very likable. At times they seemed a bit too perfect, but they did have their imperfections. I liked the love the main characters showed, and I liked the honesty in Thomas and Ruth's relationship. They faced difficult trials with kindness, faith, and compassion. The pacing was at times a bit laid back, but it was still difficult to put the book down.
