This is a direct continuation from Six of Crows, dropping us immediately into the tense situation the previous book ended on.
Again, I utterly adore this cast of characters. As much as things went wrong in Six of Crows the stakes are even higher this time and we are presented with a very rollercoaster journey of failures and successes. Does every problem get solved for every character? Nah, but what happens is very satisfyingly wrapped up.
