If you're looking for a feel-good book, this is definitely the one. Caprice, Maria, Thea, and Ada are fun characters, and their adventures (both on their own, and as a group) make for a fun, light-hearted read. This was exactly what I needed in between all of the science-fiction books I was reading.
That being said, this wasn't a book that I would tout as one with a novel plot-line or with incredible, evocative writing. That doesn't make it bad - not every book needs to be this - but the plot was predictable, the drama and conflict somewhat contrived. Any relationship or plot point that was remotely interesting unfortunately didn't get the attention that it deserved - it was mentioned, maybe talked about for another paragraph, and then the next point was made. Somewhat relatedly, the whole book was narrated in Caprice's voice, so we hear only her opinion and thoughts of her 3 friends - it would have been more interesting if their voices had also been heard in some chapters.

Would I recommend it? Sure, if you want a beach read you can zip through in a few hours and not really have to pay attention to the plot or characters, and that makes you happy.
