Parents Weekend
by Alex Finlay
The trade-off between depth and the number of characters doesn't have to happen. But in this book, it did.
It had too many characters. If the book hadn't included a list of them all in the beginning, then I would have had no chance of keeping th all straight.
I thought the culprit was obvious. the parents of the dead girl kidnapped the kids with the intent to kill them. The dead girl was abandoned by the friends after a prank, but the professor who she had an affair with actually caused her death. The professor killed the poor kid friend, i dont remember his name.
The FBI agent and her husband were my favs and I plan on picking up the other book(s) with her as the lead.
