Let's Get Lost by Adi Alsaid

4.0

This book was surprisingly good. I enjoy road trip adventure fiction, as I've often dreamed of hitting the road and riding off into the sunset. This book definitely let me live vicariously through our main character, Leila.

Leila is on a mission: to see the Northern Lights in Alaska. With each chapter, Leila encounters a new person while she's on the road. She plays a significant role in the lives of strangers through random acts of kindness and compassion.

Even though Leila's encounters with others are fleeting, Adi Alsaid's writing is rich enough to garner a solid connection with the reader at every turn.

This went straight to my "Teen Librarian Recommendations" display.
