The Love Season
by Elin Hilderbrand
After a couple of bland books I was looking for something that was going to make me feel something and boy did this do the trick.
This book is incredibly sad and full of missed chances, and second chances. Some of the language in the book is very dated and no longer what I would consider appropriate, but seeing as this was written in the early 2000s, I can give it some what of a pass.
Overall a heartbreaking read, but so thoughtful and creative.
