I picked up this read because of the hype on booktok but honestly I hated it which isn't typical of me with books. However I couldn't find one thing that i even slightly liked and had to truely force myself to finish it just to see if there was anything worth redeeming it at the end. Unfortunately there wasn't and this was my first ever audible return. In short, the characters were severely under developed and unlikeable. The plot was barely there & honestly that part i could have maybe forgiven if the spice had been worth it but no. I think this may be my first and last taste of this author's work.
