This is a Nesta stan account!

This freaking book. Nesta Archeron got her much deserved redemption arc. If you still hate her after reading this, then idk something’s wrong with you. Just admit you don’t actually like complex, female characters and move on.

The found family/sisterhood component of this story was perfect. She needed to find her own people, her own purpose outside of the Night Court and being Feyre’s sister to truly blossom. I want to be a Valkyrie 🥺.

And Cassian, oh Cassian. I love Rhys, but CASSIAN, he may have my heart. And SJM turned up the heat on this one compared to the rest of the series. They were getting it on in the House of Wind 🥵. His wing span and skill were exceptional 😏. They balance each other out well and their banter had me laughing out loud. Feyre and Rhys have that once in a lifetime love, but Cassian and Nesta just felt more realistic and I appreciated it more. They had to work at it and neither is perfect.

The absolutely only reason this isn’t a perfect 5 ⭐️ is because of the switch to third person POV. The rest of the series is told in first person, and I don’t know why she changed it. It took me a while to get used to it. But yeah this is one of my favorite reads of the year so far and I may even like this more than ACOMAF.
